JotSpot relaunches as Google Sites

Now I only wish they would integrate my personal JotSpot Wiki with my Google account.

We're contacting everyone who's expressed interest in learning of
JotSpot registration re-openings on the JotSpot website. And
today, we're excited to announce that JotSpot is working on Google
infrastructure and has been re-launched as Google Sites.

Google Sites is the latest offering from Google Apps, a suite of
products designed to improve communication and collaboration
amongst employees, students, and groups. Google Sites makes
creating a team web site as easy as editing a document. You can
quickly gather a variety of information in one place -- including
videos, calendars, presentations, attachments, and gadgets -- and
easily share it for viewing or editing with a small group, their
entire organization, or the world.

To get started with Google Sites, you'll first need to sign up for
the Google Apps edition that's right for you (if you're not
already a Google Apps user). Start the sign-up process at:

Google Office

This is what everyone has been waiting for. "Google Office":http://docs.google.com/ ! The final piece of the puzzle is still in the making from what I hear; The Google Drive. But as for now Google has integrated Writley and Spreadsheets into its simple and easy to user interface.

Hopefully its not going to be long before they release a web version of PowerPoint

Google Mac Blog

bq. " Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful."

Google has finally committed to providing better support to the Mac platform. Hopefully we can now see better support for Writely and Google Calendars in Safari.

Quick and Dirty Notes in Gmail

For a long time I have been looking for a good application to store my notes. I used a neat Mac application by the name of MyNotes to keep track of my notes. I still think its a very good application, but the only shortcoming of this application is that it does not support Google Search :) Let me tell you this is not a bad thing.

I was hanging out with a friend from Yahoo today evening, and decided to publish some of my Google Hacks :) So here is one of them. This is a quick and dirty way to store notes with Google.

Most email providers provide a feature to create aliases using the + sign. So if your email address is john.doe@gmail.com all mail sent to john.doe+office@gmail.com will also land in your mail box. This is not a new feature, but some providers have issues with it for some reason.

(Google vs Yahoo) Video Search

I decided to check out Google's Video search to find some videos I wanted. After getting a good number of unsuccessful results. I gave up and moved to the Yahoo Video Search. I later went back to Google's site and decided to seach for "hot girls making out":http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=hot+girls+making+out

And here is a screenshot of what I got.
